Secret Princess Page 4
“So, Tempest,” Rose said smiling, “This is indeed such a pleasure. We’ve never had a student from Kingsbury Prep over for dinner before. It had always been a hands-off thing between the students and the faculty and staff.”
“That’s too bad,” I said. “I like my teachers, Ms. Turlington, and all the staff I’ve had the chance to talk to.”
“Many of the student body sees everyone who isn’t royal as servants and the Help,” Rose said. “It’s one reason why they have a hard time accepting a non-royal as one of their own.”
“Unless you’re Tempest,” Ricky said, taking my hand in his.
Rose nodded. “I’ve heard you went through a lot. Bullying and other cruel things. It wasn’t fair. Just because they’re royals doesn’t mean they can just do anything at that school. Veronica should have been expelled a long time ago.”
“What about Kaz?” I asked. “How is he as a Trustee and King of the school?”
Rose rocked back and forth in thought before she said, “He’s actually pretty effective, talented in diplomacy, and wise beyond his years. I couldn’t believe he was only 14 years old when he became Trustee. The King and Queen placed a lot of pressure on him to run an Academy like this one.”
“So you think he is a good leader?” I asked.
“On many things, except his bias against letting a commoner -- or you -- in this instance, into Kingsbury.”
“So…how do you feel about Veronica becoming a Trustee?” I asked.
“Craziest thing I’ve ever heard. That one needed her parents to discipline her more. She’s a loose cannon, and should never have been allowed to handle anything sharp. The fact that she has access to so many weapons and military soldiers is dangerous for everyone.”
“Tell me about it,” I said. “She’s tried to use a meat grinder on me, shot at me, and even invoked the Black Envelope on me.”
“Ruthless,” Rose said. “Was it revoked?”
“For a time, I had the protection of the K3,” I said. “They helped me survive it.”
“Then they started bullying you themselves,” Ricky said.
Rose shook her head. “I wonder why. It isn’t like Kaz, Hunter, and Orion to do such a thing unless there was a reason.”
“They still saw me as a commoner,” I said.
“Well,” Rose said, “Kaz had better start treating commoners better. His brother Jordan, who wants the crown, has risen to become the popular prince lately, especially to commoners. Many expect the King to crown him as the next successor instead of Kaz because he is able to work with and appreciate people from all walks of life.”
“Kaz is pretty good at that, too,” I found myself saying.
Why I was defending Kaz, I had no idea except I still cared for him.
After dinner, the Honeywells said it was so dark and late for me to walk up to Kingsbury Prep by myself and it would be better for me to stay.
Ricky showed me a guest bedroom, which was nice and well-decorated like a room you could find at a Bed and Breakfast. “It’s beautiful,” I said, taking in the cheerful yellow floral décor.
“Glad you could appreciate it,” Ricky said. “At one time, my mother wanted to open a Bed and Breakfast but decided against it. She went to work as a chef instead, using her talent there.”
“I’m glad there are normal people at Kingsbury,” I said.
Ricky moved up close to me and said, “So, you like common folks, too? After hanging out with royalty like Kaz, Ori and Hunter, you still like us?”
“Of course,” I said, “I’m one myself.”
Ricky kissed me then and said, “Yes, you are, Tempest, but I get the feeling, you’re so much more.”
Chapter 8
Tempest
Staying overnight at the Honeywell’s was refreshing. I haven’t stayed with a family for years. It had just been my little sister Lily and I. We did have Helen and Mr. Nichols back in San Francisco who acted like parents to us, but the Honeywells and Ricky were like the ideal family.
“Good morning, Sleepyhead,” Ricky said, waking me up with a tray of breakfast. He settled it down on my lap.
“Oh Ricky,” I exclaimed. “What a nice surprise.”
“I wanted you to have the royal treatment, Tempest. Breakfast in bed.”
“This is so nice. I haven’t had one of these since I was a kid.”
He pointed out each item on the plate. “That’s butter pecan pancakes, maple bacon scrambled eggs, apple pork sausage, a little bit of cinnamon oatmeal, and coffee.”
“This looks delicious,” I said, digging in.
Ricky laughed. “And if you’re still hungry, there are cupcakes.”
“Tell your mom thank you for me,” I said. “She is such an amazing cook.”
Ricky smiled. “I actually made breakfast for you today.”
My eyes widen. “All this? Ricky, you are so talented.”
“With a cook like my mom, how could I not pick up how to cook?”
Ricky took my hand. “I want to shower you with everything nice and beautiful, Tempest. You’ve been through so much. I mean, I know about your parents, being left homeless when your parents’ partner kicked you and your little sister out of your own home. Then all this bullying bullshit at Kingsbury…poor girl. I…” he shook his head. “I hope you get back at Kaz, the K3, and all those kids who bullied you.”
I smiled. “I think you might enjoy this revenge plan more than me.”
Ricky said. “I will help you.”
“Like you did yesterday by sending Ronnie and Sabrina running out of the cafeteria because of something they ate?”
“That was mild,” Ricky said. “A small prank anyone can pull. What you can do with the help of me and Jordan, we will make it so Kingsbury Prep and our town never experience the royals’ foolish games again.”
I looked at Ricky, and he nodded.
“Obliterate the tradition of the Black Envelope,” I said.
“That’s one goal,” Ricky said.
“What’s another?” I asked.
“To teach those kids a lesson to treat all people right,” Ricky said.
“Why?” I asked. “I mean I grew up with that principle in my head. It’s common human decency.”
“But to the royals, it isn’t,” Ricky said. “They’re brought up to think they are better than everyone else, that people can be played with…look at Veronica. Look at Kaz.”
I looked at Ricky and tilted my head inquisitively.
“Oh, don’t do that?” Ricky said.
“What?”
“Tilt your head and look at me with those beautiful eyes of yours like that,” he pushed aside the breakfast tray and pulled me into his arms. “You’re so adorable like that.” He kissed me long and slow. When he pulled away, he smiled. “I still can’t believe I’m kissing you, Tempest.”
“You’re a good kisser,” I said.
“I’m a better lover,” Ricky said. “If you weren’t at Kingsbury Prep and had attended my high school in Arcadia, you would know I’m the most popular guy in school and even received a scholarship to Arcadia University based on my swimming record. So, Tempest, not that I’m bragging, but I might as well let you know because I’m fighting for you against princes, I’ve had my shares of girls in the past so I know what girls want in bed. But in the present, I just want you to be the only girl on that receiving end.”
He kissed me again, and his hand trailed down to my stomach. “Oh fuck, I want you,” he said. He grabbed the breakfast tray and set it down on the small round table by the bedroom window. “Breakfast for you will have to wait. But for me, it’s just starting.”
He pulled off the duvet covering me, grabbed my thighs and pulled me down so I was lying flat against the bed. He slowly unbuttoned my pink and white flannel pajama top and opened it, revealing my naked breasts. “Mercy,” he whispered. “You’re so beautiful. So perfect.” He bent down and took one erect nipple into his mouth and licked it.
He was right, h
e definitely knew what women wanted in bed. With the right pressure, rhythm, and tantalizing strokes; he almost made me come just with his mouth on my nipple.
“Oh Ricky,” I moaned. “You keep surprising me in a good way.”
Ricky smiled, his eyes bore into mine with a hungry but happy gaze. “When it comes to pleasing a woman, my woman, no man can out-fuck me.”
“Oh?” I asked. “I’m intrigued. Care to demonstrate?”
Ricky grinned, “The pleasure is mine.”
He took hold of my pajama pants and pulled it down exposing my core. “Tempest, you have no idea how I’ve dreamt of tasting you, of eating you. Of fucking you until you go comatose from orgasms.”
He spread my legs apart and lowered his head down between them. He blew on my folds, warming them with his breath. Then he inched his face closer.
A jolt of electricity went through me when his wet tongue tasted my nub. His teeth lightly grazed it, sending shivers up my core and back down my spine. Then his tongue was licking and stroking my folds. “Tempest, oh Tempest,” Ricky said, “you’re better than I had ever imagined!”
He clamped his mouth around my folds and sucked on my nub while his fingers pinched my nipples. The intensity made me cry out in pleasure as a tremor went through me.
“How do you like this?” Ricky asked between licks.
He plunged three fingers into me and worked me until I was writhing. With skillful fingers, he found my spot of nerves and expertly pressed it, playing me like an instrument until I was singing out his name.
“Now, fuck me now,” I cried out.
“Your wish is my command, my Tempest,” Ricky groaned. “My Queen.”
He stood up and lowered his pants down, revealing one of the largest Godzilla-sized cocks I’ve ever seen. He was beautiful. His cock was beautiful. Thick, hard, like an impending volcanic eruption, spouting veins of lava that gave it so much more to feel within me.
He smiled a slow wicked smile. “Bet you didn’t expect to see me like this.”
“No,” I said, not even hiding the surprise from my face.
He was inches larger than any of the princes. Wider. Slick.
“Come here,” I said.
He obliged.
I got off the bed and kneeled down to take him in. My lips struggled to wrap around his girth, eager to taste him.
“Oh Tempest,” his eyes widened in surprise as I sucked him in and out.
He grabbed my hair and tugged me closer, then closed his eyes.
I licked him, then I used my teeth to gently bite him.
He nearly jumped, but kept steady as I worked him until he groaned, “I’m almost there.”
He pulled my face away and stood me up, turning me around so my back was to him. He plunged deep into me then, while grabbing my breasts. Rubbing my nipples, he plunged deep into me again and again until we both exploded and collapsed onto the bed with him falling on top of my back.
He entwined his fingers with mine as he kissed the sensitive skin behind my ear.
“I know we just started being lovers,” he said, “but I want you to know. I’m already in love with you. Have been for a while.”
“I didn’t know.”
“Well, now you do. You may not feel the same for me at this moment, but when you get to know me better, you will.”
“Confident about that?” I asked
He nodded.
Then he slapped my butt and smiled. “Now eat up and let’s get you ready for school.”
But before he let me up, he went for second helpings.
Chapter 9
Tempest
We walked to the base of the mountain where Kingsbury Prep was located. We took the student tram up the mountain and into the Academy.
Ricky was amazed how much nicer this tram was with its luxurious leather seats and amenities compared to the service tram that was used for the staff at the Academy.
“I mean, I’ve rode in it before -- that night Ori hired me to get men from the town to act as security for the Birthday Bash. But it was at night, and we couldn’t really see the difference between the trams in the dark.”
“That’s like how it is in the cafeteria, I noticed. Amongst the royals there is a hierarchy. Of course, the K3s are at the top.”
“It’s a good thing my mother and I work in the cafeteria,” Ricky said. “I can find some use being there.”
We walked to the kitchen where Rose was already at work prepping for the day’s meals. She had started a couple of hours ago while Ricky and I were alone in the house.
“Stay over at my place, Tempest, tonight?” Ricky asked. “We can do a repeat of this morning every time you come over. I’d want you to. I can protect you better at my place.”
“We’ll see, Ricky,” I said.
He pulled me to him to kiss me. “I already miss you. I’ll see you throughout the day. And if you need me for anything, please text me. Text my mom.” He kissed me again. “You’re not alone here at the Academy. You’ve got me now. And I’ve made some friends here who can help you, too.”
I left Ricky and walked happily back towards my dorm room, smiling as I remembered how surprise I was at seeing what a delicious body Ricky had, and how amazing of a lover he was.
When I reached my dorm room, I stopped.
Kaz was leaned up against my door, his body slumped on the ground and his eyes closed. He was asleep.
I was going to wake him, but I just watched him, taking him all in. His blue black hair tumbled over his forehead in an irresistible wave which I found my fingers eager to touch. His full mouth was slightly open as he breathed in and out gently. His high cheekbones with the flawless glowing skin rested against the door. He looked peaceful and innocent then. Like a baby.
I kneeled down to his level and blew on his face gently.
He twitched.
Then I leaned in and tweaked his nose between my knuckles.
His eyes opened, and he grabbed my hand, twisting it until I was yelping in pain.
“Tempest,” he said softly, dropping my hand.
“What are you doing sleeping at my door?” I asked.
Kaz sat up and then he pushed himself up until he was standing and brushing himself off.
“I repeat, Kaz, what are you doing here?” I crossed my arms, ready to fight him if I must. He was still a bully. The last time we spoke, he pretended to want to make nice with me only to get me naked in front of a bunch of boys from school. To humiliate me. To make me feel like dirt.
Kaz looked at me from head to toe, taking me all in. “You look beautiful, Tempest,” he said. “You always have. The most beautiful girl in school.”
“You’re not here to just tell me that,” I said. “I doubt it.”
Kaz reached out a hand to try to cup my cheeks but I stepped back.
“I missed you, Tempest,” he sighed, taking a deep breath.
“Last time we spoke, you wanted me out of here, out of Kingsbury Prep, out of your life, Kaz. How can you stand there saying you missed me when all you wanted to do is push me away?”
“That was because of duty. I had to push you away. I had to get you out of Kingsbury Prep,” he said.
“No, you don’t,” I said. “I have every right to be here. Your school would not have opened up enrollment for a common student if they had not wanted one here. See, Kaz, your so-called ‘duty’ is not in line with what the administrators at Kingsbury Prep wanted. I am rightfully here in Kingsbury Prep because I earned it fairly and on my own merits.”
“Tempest!” Kaz said a little too loudly as a couple of students walking by looked over. Kaz lowered his voice. “Can we talk privately?”
“I don’t know why I should.” I said. “I trusted you last time we were ‘private’, and you let the whole world see my ‘privates’ publicly. I don’t even know if I will forgive you for that.”
“I was angry,” Kaz said. “I thought you had betrayed me. I thought you were the one to turn against me.”
“I never did, Kaz,” I said. “I…” Some girls walked by and looked like they wanted to stay to watch the drama that was unfolding between Kaz and I.
“Damn,” I pushed past Kaz’s body which sent heat through mine and apparently his the way he inhaled quickly at the moment, and opened my door. “Come in.”
Kaz nodded and followed me in.
I closed the door after him and stood a step away, crossing my arms.
Kaz just stood there, looking at me. “I wished that incident never happened. I wished you were back with us, Tempest.”
“Too late,” I said. “I’ve moved on.”
“I see,” Kaz said bitterly. “Is that why you didn’t come back to your room last night? Were you over at his place? Your new lover’s?”
“Since we’re not together anymore and we’re not even friends, Kaz, but let’s say enemies…why should I even answer you?”
Kaz winced. “Tempest…”
“You acted badly, Kaz. You treated me badly. It has consequences. I’m not one of those dim-witted heroines from some bully romance novel who think a man’s good looks, muscular body, and dirty talk is enough to set aside their bad behaviors. I deserve better than that.”
“I never…” Kaz began.
“Yes, you did,” I said. “You had already judged me not worthy of being treated decently because I was not born a princess or some acceptable royalty. But mark my words, Prince, the world is constantly changing. If you don’t accept some of the changes, you won’t survive. Your kingdom won’t survive.”
“Is that something you picked up from Jordan?” Kaz asked. His face could barely hide his anger. “Seems like you two were close.”
“Jordan?” I asked. “No, it’s what I picked up from my own observations and experience. No one could tell me what to believe, Kaz. Everyone’s got opinions. Some are louder at expressing them, while others express them in a silent but equally effective way. So, as I’ve learned recently, it’s up to me to find out the truth. I’ll believe that and come to my own conclusion in the end.”
