  NOTE FROM AUTHOR

  Disclaimers

Although Bad Boy Royals of Kingsbury Prep is fiction, there was a school in history that only allowed those of royal blood to attend. It was a school to train them to become global rulers and diplomats. The names of the countries of the royals have been changed for fictional purposes. In the writing of this series, specialists such as a weapons specialist, a fighting specialist, and a lawyer were consulted to best accurately depict certain scenes, while being fiction. While this takes place at a high school level academy, due to the maturity of the themes, language, and sexual content; this series is best suitable for a mature audience. Tempest and her lovers are seniors and at least 18 years old.

This is also a Reverse Harem, which means the main female character will have three or more love interests.

Possible triggers in this book for those sensitive to these issues: suicide, bullying, attempted rape.

The entire series for Bad Boy Royals of Kingsbury Prep takes place during Senior Year for Tempest and the K3s. Events may go faster than a typical bully romance RH Academy book, which takes place 1 book per year. Tempest, Book 1, is told from her point-of-view and the language will reflect this. The structure of events and timing will reflect her point-of-view to keep with the integrity of the storytelling. Please keep an open mind for the way this book is told, as it may not fall within the typical style of RH Romances and Bully Romances. Contrary to typical RH Romances and Bully Romances, this series has a twist to it.

As this book series has been optioned as a film and is based on a mix between genres (manga, mature comic, and contemporary romance), there will be more action rather than description.

Finally, this is a bully romance which means enemy to lover romance. By no means do we promote or advocate any bullying of any kind, but seek to prevent it in real life. If anyone is facing bullying in real life, there are resources and help out there. One we recommend is:

  Prologue

  Tempest

They finally got what they wanted…the commoner whom they never wanted, left Kingsbury Prep. As soon as I ran back to my dorm room, I called for my private jet to take me back to San Francisco.

I wanted to leave Kingsbury Prep as soon as I could. I felt as though I had stepped into some strange funhouse and all the people I had met, especially the K3s, were distorted versions of themselves.

Ori, Kaz, and Hunter…I still couldn’t believe they had set the entire thing up…this elaborate plan to get me to leave Kingsbury Prep.

The pilot for my private jet phoned me and said they were delayed, but there was another jet that was heading to San Francisco from a nearby island. They said they could pick me up within half an hour.

Anything was better than staying at this reverse alternative bizarro land. I told him to arrange it.

Half an hour later, with all my belongings packed, I walked up the steps to a beautiful gold trimmed private jet. A pretty stewardess greeted me and seated me in a plush leather chair opposite a young gentleman seated to the right of me.

I acknowledged him and smiled. “Thank you so much for stopping here and sharing a flight with me, Sir,” I said.

He looked vaguely familiar as he stood up and shook my hand. A little older than him, around 25 years old, this young man dressed in an impeccable blue silk suit, with black hair and blue eyes, looked like a more grown up version of Kaz.

  Were they related?

His eyes took me in from head to toe appreciating what he saw from the glint in his eyes. “I’m Jordan…Prince Jordan.”

“Any relations to Prince Kaz?” I asked.

Jordan smiled, “We’re half-brothers. But I’m older by a few years.”

  “That explained the remarkable resemblance.”

“Hopefully I’m the handsome one,” Prince Jordan said.

“Well, definitely the charming one,” I smiled.

“Seemed like Kaz lucked out a bit though,” Jordan said.

“Why would you say that?” I asked.

“He got to go to school with you, didn’t he?”

“Thank you for being so charming,” I said.

The stewardess came by and offered us drinks and then we were alone again.

As we sipped our drinks, I looked over at Jordan. He was tall like Kaz, and even more filled out.

“The good looks genes seem to run in your family,” I said.

“The stunning beauty genes run in yours,” Jordan said.

“Thank you,” I laughed. “I needed that especially after the kind of lashing I had tonight.”

“Oh?” Jordan raised his thick eyebrows.

  “Long story,” I said.

“We’ve got time,” Jordan said. “Going to SF will take a while.”

“I know,” I said. “A long commute for sure. So, if you don’t mind…what is it that brings you to SF?”

Jordan looked straight ahead as he took another sip from his glass. “Ever heard of the Underground Fight Network?”

My eyes widen as I looked over at Jordan, relaxed and star
ing straight ahead. “Yes,” I said.

“I’m the owner of it,” Jordan said.

My heart began racing as it suddenly hit me. The Underground Network was my sponsor from the underground fight tournament. They also just deposited $5 million as my sponsor, which allowed me to buy back 3 Kings Technologies.

Then there was Jordan himself. Half-brother to Kaz. Didn’t Kaz mention a while back how his brother wanted to become King of their country, but Kaz was the crown prince? And there was a civil war that was about to take place, instigated by his half-brother?

I gulped. So this was Kaz’s biggest rival and nemesis. Now what did I do to become a pawn in their civil war?

  Chapter 1

  Tempest

I realized the significance of me being in an enclosed and captive location with Kaz’s brother, who according to Kaz when he first mentioned he had a half-brother to me, was utterly evil.

Think. How do I quickly get out of this situation?

I stood up and grabbed my luggage. Luckily I had always packed light. “I just remembered,” I said, “I forgot something. I have to go back to my dorm.”

Jordan waved his hand lightly. “No worries. We can wait for you.”

“Nah,” I said. “I wouldn’t want you to be late for whatever you were going to SF for. I’ll catch another flight.”

Prince Jordan stood up and took one step towards me. Despite the large size of his private jet, it took only one step for him to be almost chest-to-chest with me in the aisle.

He was tall. Taller than Kaz. A scent of musk and cinnamon filled my nose as I breathed in Prince Jordan’s scent. Masculine, powerful, commanding…sensual.

“The thing about being with boys still in their teens,” he said, his deep voice brushing into my ears like a hot caress. “They are adolescent.”

“Hmm,” I murmured, unable to move because of how he was standing so close to me. With one movement, I would be in his lap. “The definition of it.”

Jordan chuckled next to me, and I could feel the deep vibrations in his chest. “Yes, it is the definition of adolescence. Kaz and his friends sure have a long way to go before he could deserve a woman like you.”

My face flamed up, and I looked down. Was Prince Jordan flirting with me? He was attractive for sure. Very attractive, but did I really wanted to get into a relationship with him? Considering I had three hot and handsome boyfriends back at Kingsbury Prep.

  Wait. I did.

What they did to me, what they had been doing to me…it should have officially ended our relationships. Kaz, Hunter, and Ori were no longer my boyfriends. Not even friends.

I thought back to the straw that broke my back. They broke my heart and shattered it into a billion pieces. I couldn’t even begin to pick them up.

Strong arms wrapped around me, pulling me into a hard broad chest. “There there, sweet girl,” Jordan’s melodic soothing voice said against my hair. “It’s okay to cry. With me, you don’t have to always be so strong. You can just be the beautiful woman that you are.”

I tried to pull away, but he was patting my back and gently moving his hand through my hair, soothing me with each stroke. “I’m not crying,” I said.

“Yes, you are,” Jordan said. He pulled back from holding me and stared me straight in the eyes. His eyes were not the Azure blue of Kaz’s. Kaz had inherited the beautiful shade from his mother, a known beauty. Jordan’s eyes were turquoise, almost the same shade as the clear blue waters that surrounded his island kingdom.

“The most stunning blues run in your family,” I said.

He reached out a finger to wipe away my tears, lingering along my cheeks a bit longer than necessary. “Looks like we match,” Jordan said. “Yours is a purplish, violet brown shade. So beautiful,” he said, his hand now running through my hair. “So soft.” He brought a piece to his nose and breathed it in. “Intoxicatingly sweet.”

His eyes closed as if he was savoring me.

Despite myself, I was beginning to sweat. The temperature around us had risen dramatically. His body heat mixed with mine.

“Ride with me,” Jordan said. “I’ll make it worth your while.”

“I…I,” I was torn. Who do I believe? Kaz who said his brother was evil? Or Kaz who had been cruel to me and had played with me just to break my heart?

“Whatever you forgot in your dorm,” Jordan said, “I’ll send someone to pick it up. Stay here with me.”

  He held me tighter.

“No need to send someone,” I said. “I could go myself.”

“Not in the state you’re in, Tempest,” Jordan said. “You clearly just had a traumatic experience.”

“I could get through it,” I said.

“Not if I could help it,” Jordan said. “Please,” he said, taking my hand. “I know Kaz may have brought me up a few times to you. Probably mentioned me in the most negative light. I could tell the way you’ve reacted that you have heard of me. All from that brat, Kaz.”

  I remained silent.

Jordan went on. “After all we’ve been through, at least hear my side of the story. Then you can make your own decision on who I am, and who Kaz is. A smart genius like you and a fair leader would at least try to get the rest of the story before making a judgment.”

“How do you know so much about me?” I asked.

“I saw you from the Tournament, the night you beat Ori,” Jordan said. “Ori was someone I had high hopes for. The White Night. But then you came along, and suddenly, you changed the entire game.”

“You personally watched the fight?” I asked.

“Of course,” Jordan said. “I watch every championship tournament. The fact a girl came in to fight our champion was intriguing itself. Then when you showed up, you took my breath away. Your stunning looks, your bravery, your fierceness, and your personal story. The crowd loved you. I loved you.”

“Thanks,” I automatically said. “I needed that chance.”

Jordan brought my hand to his lips where he kissed my knuckles.

I lost my breath for a second as I watched his sensuous lips caress my rough knuckles. For a brief moment, I forgot the K3s and I forgot everything that I had previously thought of Kaz’s evil half-brother. Instead, I was looking at a very handsome, sensuous, man who seemed to appreciate women and knew how to treat them well.

Then I felt self-conscious about the calluses on my knuckles, earned from punching bags, breaking wood, and working an honest living. I tried to pull my hand out of Jordan’s while he continued to kiss my knuckles, but he held on tight.

“Tempest, one of the many things I love about you,” Jordan said, “Is that you earned everything you’ve got. Your knuckles are beautiful…like a badge of a true fighter. Everyone could tell you are. That’s why when you became our champion, everyone rooted for you.”

“The $5 Million…it came from you,” I said. “You helped me get back my parents’ company 3 Kings Technologies.”

“Yes,” Jordan said. “You signed the sponsorship contract for us to sponsor you. Use your likeness and footage to endorse all of our licensed goods from the franchise. You were to get 30% of the profits from the licensed goods.”

“Oh?” I cocked my eyebrows. “I didn’t know it was that generous.”

“Well, your family friend, the attorney, helped get you that,” Jordan said. “And luckily for you, the sales of our licensed products have gone through the roof.”

“So $5 Million was a decent amount from the sales?” I asked.

“Most underground fight tournaments yield the champion a decent 5 figures per fight. Ours was 6 figures because the purse money was high that night, and we added in an extra to sweeten the prize. We have the online component with live streaming which also made the fight a very lucrative one for fighters. You won the night of the biggest purse money in underground fighting history. On top of that, because of the way you look, your beauty, your marketability, you changed how people view underground fighting. A beautiful young woman was fi
ghting, and she was fierce. We picked up the female demographic and even non-core audience because of you. Women and men were buying up anything your face appeared in. So, to answer your question, Tempest, no, this isn’t typical at all. You are a bonafide star and celebrity.”

For the first time since waking up at the hotel in San Francisco and finding out the guys from the K3 had been playing some kind of mindfucking game on me; I felt real joy. “Thank you for everything,” I said, putting my arms around Jordan’s back to give him a hug.

“No,” he said, pulling me closer, “Thank you.” He bent down to kiss my cheek in a friendly matter, so I thought, but at the last minute, his lips brushed mine in a soft whisper of a kiss. “Tempest,” he said so softly, I could barely hear him. “You’ve changed everything for me. You have no idea.”

  Chapter 2

  Tempest

“Your Highness,” the stewardess came up to us.

Jordan looked like he wanted to do more than kiss me, but sighed and looked over at the stewardess. “What do you want, Polly?”

“Someone is at the door. He says he must speak to this lady.”

“I wished we could have a ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign in this jet,” Jordan said. “I wish to be alone with Tempest right now.”

I smiled and patted Jordan’s arm. “It’s alright,” I said. “Maybe it’s urgent.”

Jordan’s annoyance was replaced with an affectionate smile. “For you, Tempest, anything.”

“Why do I get the feeling that you are putting on the charm just for me?”

“Because I am,” Jordan said. “Because you are very important to me, Tempest. I have more than a business interest in you, as you can see. I’ve been very attracted to you from the moment I laid eyes on you as Tempest Storm. You could say I’m one of your biggest fans.”
